PRIVATE ESTATE BARN WEDDING PHOTOS IN TROY, MICHIGAN
OCTOBER 21, 2017
Tucked away in the northern suburbs of Oakland County, a romantic, Mumford and Sons inspired, barn wedding took place during the fall equinox. The festivities started with a ketubah signing held on the second floor of an old community barn with only the wedding party and immediate family in attendance. Meanwhile, outside next to the barn, guests began to take their seats just before the wedding ceremony began. The couple decided to incorporate Jewish and Christian wedding traditions into their blended ceremony. They had both a rabbi and a priest perform the ceremony as the couple stood beneath a white lace huppah made by the groom. A pig roast and dinner reception followed in a large tent with tables dressed with a cornucopia of honey dippers and rustic accents. After dinner, guests poured over the property, enjoying cocktails and headed to the upper level of the barn for cake pulls, cider mill donuts, and dancing that went well into the evening.
